Formed as a band in Trondheim, Sorrow was the first official studio effort of a band destined to become one of the essential pillars upon which doom metal was to be built, with frontwoman Kari Rueslåtten being one of the early female voices in metal music, influencing acts like The Gathering or Theatre Of Tragedy among others.
 Four tracks ranging from heavy guitars to stunning haunting melodies delivering twenty minutes previous to their long acclaimed first full length album Tears Laid In Earth.
